-Walks away to the roommate for petting.
-Returns to the door and sniffs.
-Walks away to me for some petting.
-Returning to the door again for more sniffing.
I don't know what he's up to, but it's cute.
I think it's just my cat being a nutcase. He's always been a quirky, confused one and my sweet little transvestite.

And now it's Kyo's term to be a nutty feline. He started playing with the front window, swatting at it, hopping in and out of it, and finally jumping at the curtain and clinging to it until he fell.
Then he just got bored, I guess, and ran off to go play else where.
My cats, my darling little cats, are just too much fun.
I like having a pet or two.
I've never met someone who didn't like having pets.

Cats are fun creatures. I had never had any pets. W had wanted some but weren't sure what to get. When Taben and his family moved in we inherited their animals as well. We have Allen's Betta fish, Twister. Taben's tarantula who is without a name until it goes through its final molt.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's Raven. There's something special about Raven that I can't quite put my finger on. Well she's a very... large feline. She lives a comfortable life and I'd hav to say she's likely Ryan's familiar. Even though he doesn't know it. She is intelligent, loving and just well she's a cat. She has her quirks and personalities. We've considered getting another cat so she has a friend but she seems to like being alone. So we may have to wait.
But yes, I have to agree. Pets are very nice to have. Even something that doesn't seem like it could have one, has a personality all its own
Amen. Seriously, I'd love to have a cat someday, but I keep being told that even with shots, that isn't particularly likely with my allergies. Guess it's a good thing that I'm part dog person too.

And Kayomie, if you were ever to get a cat it'd have to be a shorthair little thing and you'd probably have to do a lot of work to keep the cathair up.
Although I hear that most people's cat allergies has to do with dandruff or something and that special shampoos can be bought and used on the cats to help cut down on the allergy factor.
I don't know.
In any case, it is a good thing you do love your doggies too. =)
That and cats are tempermental little beasts. =p

It's intersting how familiars work. I personally don't have one(would like one but I'm not sure how to geo about the process), but from the story I hear from Taben, Raven was supposed to be his cat. Taben adopted her from one of those cat adoption places at petsmart. Raven got to know Taben she reacted only to him whenever he went into the stor. And the bond was formed.
ReplyDeleteThen Taben got the cat home and Raven ignored Taben and went Ryan. And since then Raven has been stuck to Ry.
Also if you have allergies but get a cat, there are things your doctor can perscribe for it. Also look into getting one of those air filters. it'll help with the cat hair an the dandruff.
I'm on shots, allergy meds, and two different nose sprays for pretty much all of my allergies. Plus, I heard in a few places that some cats are hypoallergenic and aren't hairless, so if I do get a cat, I'll probably go that route.
